Global Vocational Services Inc. was incorporated in 1996 and is owned by Ann Norris.
Ann has worked in the Career Development industry since 1979 and has worked as an employment counsellor, a facilitator, a vocational rehabilitation counsellor, a trainer and, for the past fourteen years, as the managing director of the Global Vocational Services Inc. agreements with the Federal and Provincial Governments. She has a Master of Arts in Leadership and Training. She is committed to increasing recognition of the Career Development Industry. To that end, Ann is the chair of the Certification Review Committee for the BC Career Development Association and encourages her staff and others in the industry to commit to ongoing learning through education and professional development.
The Global staff brings experience, practical application and certification to assist individuals in their job search. All our staff have or are working toward their British Columbia Career Development Practitioner Certification. This certification sets the standard for Employment Counselling in the Province of British Columbia.
We are pleased to have staff that is diverse in experience, age and skills.
Just some of their credentials include a Master’s in Counselling, BA in Social Work, BA in Communication, BA in Science, and BA in Psychology as well as certification as a Registered Rehabilitation Professional.
